The second quarter of 2015 results for online gaming in Spain shows a lower gross margin but slightly higher turnover at €2.04m a 1.61 per cent increase on the first quarter and 29.15 per cent up on the same quarter of last year.
The Gross Gambling Revenue stood at €62.72, a drop of 18.96 per cent over the first quarter but 6.29 per cent up on 2014’s second quarter.
The number of active players registered during the fourth quarter of 2014 was 373,400, down by 5 per cent on the previous quarter but up by 5.67 per cent on the comparative quarter of the previous year.
Slots were only introduced in June of this year, so made only a minor contribution, however this is expected to increase considerably in the coming months.
