Spain to offer more igaming licences

The Spanish gaming regulator, the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, has signalled its intent to run a another tender process for igaming licences.

The one-year tender window will open once Spain’s minister for finance and public function approves the move, which could take up to three months from the date of the notice, which was issued on September 18.

Once the tender period begins, the DGOJ has as much as six months to review each application.
