Another trade show has been moved because of the Covid-19 pandemic - SiGMA is to shift from its November dates to February 2021, it was announced by the Malta-based organiser last week.
The move will make it the first major gaming event of the year. SiGMA’s Europe Summit was initially set for November 17-19, but has now been postponed to February 16-18 "following recent, unforeseen, developments of the global health crisis and in line with Malta’s health authorities' rulings."
SiGMA’s Eman Pulis said that the show had been sold out and he was anticipating that the fresh dates would not impact that support. He said that the digital event set for the Latin American market would still go ahead in September (22-24) and summits later in October for other industries.
The company was organising its SiGMA Asia for May next year, plus SiGMA Americas for September. Meanwhile the planned SiGMA Europe in November 2021 would still go ahead although it will be the second in the same year.
