SiGMA said “high-energy networking” was the highlight of its SiGMA Asia gaming industry event earlier this month.

The June 2-4 expo, at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, the Philippines, opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by SiGMA Group CEO Emily Micallef (pictured right) and Neil Shih, director of SiGMA Asia.
Panels included Asia: The sleeping giant of gaming, while blockchain and fintech were in focus with the Mapping the Philippines’ blockchain ecosystem talk.
Elsewhere, the SiGMA Start-up Pitch saw early early-stage ventures seek investment to propel their businesses.
“The Philippines is quickly emerging as a global hub for land-based gaming and emerging technologies, making it an ideal location for this landmark event,” SiGMA said.
