Chinese internet firm Shanda Interactive Entertainment aims to buy more digital entertainment platforms and game content developers to diversify its revenue stream according to a report on Reuters.

The firm, which is trying to shed its roots as an egaming company and position itself as a full-fledged entertainment firm, spun off its online games unit Shanda Games in September and is now reportedly keen to make more acquisitions.

Shanda Games operates multi-player online role-playing game Legend of Mir and Aion.
