Experts from inside and outside sports betting will discuss the future of the industry at a series of keynote SBC Summit North America panels.

Sports, Teams & Media on May 11 will feature several panels, with industry professionals from NFL, NBA, NASCAR and others analysing how to optimise the benefits of the intersection between sports, teams and the media.
The sessions, held as part of the SBC conference at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey between May 9-11, will also look at how the three aspects combine to enhance player experience and increase revenue.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and co-founder of SBC, said understanding how sports, teams and media intersect is becoming “more and more essential for success.”
One event on the day, Sports, Betting, Teams & Media – Forensic Analysis of Convering Relationships, will ask how to drive innovation in land-based venues. It will also discuss optimising digital platforms for sports audiences, creating, distributing and analysing content, as well as examine cable television’s role in the evolving landscape.
Joseph Solosky, managing director, sports betting at NASCAR and David Highhill, VP and general manager, sports betting at NFL, will feature in that session.
Meanwhile, the Teams & Leagues – What’s Next for Betting Partnerships panel, including David Adams, senior director, partnership development at Kansas City Royals, will look at maximising the value of partnerships and whether the US industry should focus on player acquisition or retention as it continues to mature.
Elsewhere, Kevin LeGrett, VP of emerging media and innovation at WarnerMedia, will be part of a panel discussing the challenges that legacy partners face and how they can learn from and adapt to the new forms of media consumption, in the Lessons from New Media session.
Sojmark added: “Attendees of the SBC Summit North America can expect to gain valuable insights and perspectives on the future of the industry from representatives of major organizations such as the NFL, NASCAR, NBA, CFL, and media powerhouses like Warner Media, The Sporting News, VSiN, and Sports Illustrated, who will be joining top industry operators, suppliers and affiliates on stage.”
