Robbie Savage, football pundit, presenter and former international footballer, will be taking part in the Responsible Gambling Trust’s October 2013 Kilimanjaro fundraising expedition as part of the William Hill team.

Marc Etches, chief executive of the RGT, said: “The aim of our Kilimanjaro expedition is to raise funds for and increase awareness of the Responsible Gambling Trust and we are hoping that, through this initiative, we will raise at least £50,000 to help minimise problem gambling and gambling-related harm in Britain.”
Savage, patron of the William Hill Foundation, said: “I can’t wait to take on this challenge and very much hope that, through my involvement, this event will raise considerable funds for the Responsible Gambling Trust and William Hill Project Africa.”
Other causes set to benefit from the fundraiser include Haven House Children’s Hospice, Mayfield and Ellastone First Responder Group, Prostate Cancer UK, Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity and William Hill Project Africa.
Betview magazine, Coral Racing, Genting Casinos UK, ICE Totally Gaming, Inspired Gaming Group, Ladbrokes and Praesepe have all also purchased places on the expedition to use as staff incentives or competition prizes.
