FanDuel and Major League Baseball will aim to drive responsible gambling awareness as part of a new partnership.

FanDuel

The Flutter-owned sports betting brand has penned a multi-year deal with MLB to make its sportsbook a sports betting partner of the competition.

FanDuel will have the right to use official MLB branding and category destinations in its products and marketing campaigns.

FanDuel TV, meanwhile, will gain access to highlights both in product and as part of original programming.

But responsible gambling is another key initiative targeted through the partnership, with the partnership looking to drive greater advocacy and awareness.

Kenny Gersh, MLB executive vice president, Media & Business Development, said FanDuel’s “unique fan engagement” and responsible gambling priorities “align with our focus.”

Christian Genetski, president of FanDuel Group, said the deal will look to create “new betting product innovations.”
