The Michigan Gaming Control Board has reported record online sports betting handle of US$553m for October, the first time the figure has breached $500m.

Handle increased by 16.5 per cent from the $457.7m handle recorded in September.
Total combined igaming and online sports betting revenue in the Wolverine State reached $205.3m, decreasing 2.4 per cent from September.
Online sports betting revenue tallied at $45m, up by $1m month-on-month, but igaming revenue dropped from $166.4m in September to October’s figure of $160.3m.
