The igaming revenue figure beat the $181.9m recorded in January and contributed to overall revenue of $218.5m, up from $170.8m in February last year.

However, the overall figure of $218.5m translated to a 4.8 per cent decrease compared to January this year, the Michigan Gaming Control Board said.

Gross sports betting revenue of $30.5m in February fell from the $47.7m in January, but rose from the $22.7m posted last February.

Combined adjusted gross gaming revenue in igaming and sports betting reached $182.1m, including $169.2m from igaming and $12.9m from mobile sports betting.

Total mobile sports betting handle at $402.6m was down by 30.3 per cent from the $577.4m handle in January 2024.
