Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota has made a further investment in esports by becoming a shareholder in Galaxy Racer.

The Premier League star’s partnership will see the formation of Luna Galaxy, a new esports, content and consumer products brand which will compete in FIFA/ EA Sports FC, Dota 2 and Rocket League.
Luna Galaxy will be a rebrand of Jota’s Diogo Jota Esports, as it welcomes new team members for fresh titles.
Jota said esports has the potential to “captivate millions worldwide.”
Paul Roy, CEO of Galaxy Racer, added Luna Galaxy is looking to make a “huge mark” on esports through is “state-of-the-art esports infrastructure, branding expertise and professional experience.”
