Delegates and exhibitors were pleasantly surprised by how well the only free to attend global igaming event went earlier this week.

Taking place at Old Billingsgate in London, EGR Live gave delegates the opportunity to network, do business and attend conferences. The event was a hit among delegates, despite the online diary system - introduced prior to the event - needing some getting used to, according to a few exhibitors.

Speaking to iNTERGAMINGi at EGR Live, Continent 8 Technologies’ chief development officer, Nick Nally, said that he was surprised at how good the event was and that the company had already done business on its stand by the end of the first morning.

Another exhibitor, head of e-commerce development for Alderney Robin Le Prevost, added: “We would definitely come back again next year. It’s been worth doing just for this morning.”

Egaming development manager at the Isle of Man Government, Lisa Underwood, told iNTERGAMINGi on the first day: “This event proves that you don’t need big shows to attract quality customers. We’ve been really busy this morning.”
