In order to give consortium JKO Play time to make an offer, Playtech has delayed its shareholder vote on Aristocrat’s proposed $3.7bn acquisition.

The vote is now scheduled for February 2, pushed from January 12. That gives JKO until January 26 to make an offer. Playtech had originally given JKO a deadline of next Wednesday .
Aristocrat and JKO are the only publicly interested parties in Playtech. JKO is headed by Irish businessman and former motorsport team owner Eddie Jordan, who had previously indicated interest in buying Scientific Games’ OpenBet.
