Testing lab eCOGRA has been authorised to offer its full suite of igaming testing, inspection and certification services in Peru.

The accreditation by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism comes two weeks after the company opened its office in Colorado, US.
The Peruvian market takes eCOGRA’s number of global jurisdictions to 38 and will allow the company to embed itself in the country’s new sports betting and igaming regulations. ECOGRA is also now accredited in all key South American jurisdictions.
Bradley Khoury, chief technical officer of eCOGRA, said: “This approval not only recognises our unwavering dedication to the highest industry standards but also reinforces our position as a trusted partner in the global online gaming sector.
"We are committed to working closely with Peruvian operators and software providers to ensure the integrity and fairness of online gambling offerings."
Speaking on the new regulations late last year, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, Juan Carlos Mathews said: “This is the first time that this important economic activity is regulated in the country.
“In South America, Peru becomes the third country to regulate it, after Colombia and Argentina.”
