The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced that companies wishing to operate igaming platforms can submit their applications from June 4, 2018.

Potential interactive gaming operators can download the application from the PGCB’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov.

The state legislature last year announced online gaming provisions allowing for online slots, along with table games and poker, taxed at taxed at 52 per cent and 14 per cent respectively. A combined licence for slots, table games and poker, costs US$10m, or US$4m each.

Pennsylvania is the fourth US state to regulate igaming. Online gambling is also legal and regulated in Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey.
