Penn Entertainment has begun looking for a new head of Interactive with Benjie Levy and the other founding members of theScore stepping down in the coming months.

Levy was installed as Penn’s head of Interactive after Penn’s acquisition of theScore in October 2021 and its subsequent integration with Penn’s Interactive unit.

Penn said the integrated Interactive team had “further established” the company across North America but Jay Snowden, CEO and president of Penn Entertainment, said the transition plan comes at a “natural inflection point.”

Penn has completed the migration of its proprietary technology platform and Snowden noted theScore’s media and betting business is “delivering record results.”

Penn has also recently launched ESPN Bet in partnership with the US media giant. The operator has showed promising signs in its early months across the US.

Benjie Levy, Aubrey Levy and Noah Levy will step down in April after the departure of John Levy in mid-February.

Benjie Levy said: “Working at PENN has been extremely rewarding and we want to thank Jay, Todd George and the entire Penn team for their partnership and support as we brought these two organisations together to execute on our uniquely integrated media and betting strategy.

“Our focus on creating industry leading technology and products has been second only to our efforts in building a world-class team and fostering a special place to work.

"We could not be more proud of this team and what we have accomplished together, and we look forward to watching as they continue to build upon the successful foundation we established at theScore.”
