Mobile sports betting revenue in Kentucky, US, in April was up both year-on-year and month-on-month, but there was more of a mixed picture in the retail betting sector.

The Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation’s latest figures show that online betting revenue climbed 3.6 per cent year-on-year to US$23.2m, up from $22.4m in April 2024.

Month-on-month, the figure rose 22.9 per cent from March’s $18.9m.

In the retail sector, betting revenue climbed 14.7 per cent year-on-year to $524,750 but was down 10.3 per cent from March’s $584,853.

Total betting revenue across retail and online operators in April was $23.7m, a rise of 3.8 per cent year-on-year from $22.8m.
