Another year at the ICE show in London's Earls Court saw the online gaming sector expand further as the industry sees increasing crossover.
This year’s show saw a rise in the number of different players - from technology suppliers to payment service providers - making a footprint in online gaming from other sectors.
The IGT stand was strategically placed between the online and land-based exhibition halls, representing the company’s developments in online gaming, utilising its background and experience in land-based.
On its stand at ICE, Global Betting and Gaming Consultants received enquiries from every continent about getting help with gambling ventures, proving online gaming’s global expansion. "We produced a free white paper for ICE which contained GBGC’s thoughts on the global economic outlook, what it means for gambling, and the performance of the GBGC Share Index of gambling companies, among other things," Lorien Pilling, research director at GBGB, told iNTERGAMINGi.
Pilling added: "ICE really has the ability to draw people to London. Some of our existing clients in Asia and Africa we have only worked with by telephone and email and never met in person. But several have made the trip specifically to visit ICE this week and it has been an excellent chance to able to meet them."
