NBA: King of the Court 2, which features major upgrades from Ogmento’s award-winning original game, has been launched on iOS and Android devices.

The launch follows a multi-year extension of the current NBA deal for location-based mobile games. New features include a new single player mode, interactive courts and extensive customisation features.

President and co-founder Brian Selzer said Ogmento was thrilled to have renewed its agreement with the NBA.

“Basketball fans can expect many exciting new features with NBA: King of the Court 2, such as a single-player mode with over 40 levels, including levels representing all 30 NBA teams, customisable courts, expanded Super Courts and a new immersive basketball shooting mechanic," added Selzer.

The location-based nature of the games encourages players to visit real world locations to find virtual courts. The multiplayer mode means gamers can become ‘king’ of their local court before competing on the Royal Court ladder system, allowing players to rule the court at city, state and, ultimately, world level.
