European operator Olympic Entertainment Group has established a new igaming company, OlyBet Italia, with a share capital of €10,000.
The aim of the group, which owns land-based casinos and betting shops across the continent, is to expand its online igaming activities in Italy.
A company statement reads: “The establishment of this subsidiary has no direct influence on the economic activities of OEG Group. The members of the management and supervisory boards of OEG have no personal interest in the establishment of the subsidiary.”
Earlier this month, OEG’s online platform OlyBet added a selection of titles from Scientific Games to allow players to experience traditional land-based titles on the move.
