Global payment technology partner Nuvei has been awarded a certificate of registration for sports wagering in the state of Indiana.
The approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission authorises the company to provide payment services supporting sports betting transactions in the state. Nuvei, a full-service payments provider to the igaming and sports betting industries, will now be able to empower gaming operators and companies to accept payments from their Indiana-based clients.
Sports betting was legalised in Indiana in the autmunn of 2019, opening the opportunity for anyone over the age of 21 in the state to place legal wagers on games.
