Real-money online gaming win in the US state of New Jersey grew by 41.8 per cent in February compared with the same period in 2015, rising to $14.7m.

All properties offering real-money online gaming in the Garden State made year-on-year gains in the month.

Borgata saw the highest growth with $4.2m in February. Golden Nugget and Tropicana made the next highest gains, both with a win of $3.1m in the month, slightly ahead of Caesars Interactive with a win of $1.3m.

The results, published by the New Jersey regulator, the Division of Gaming Enforcement, come as PokerStars prepares to launch in the state.

In partnership with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, from March 21 PokerStars will offer poker, table games and slots in the state.
