A report from research firm Eilers and Krejcik Gaming forecasts that the regulated real-money online gaming market in the US state of New Jersey will grow by 17 per cent in 2017, despite a predicted six per cent fall in online poker revenue in the same period.

“The big winners in New Jersey's online gambling markets are familiar names, with land-based brands like the Golden Nugget, Borgata, Tropicana and Resorts leading the way,” said report authors Adam Krejcik and Chris Grove.
“Increased integration between the online and live casino appears to be driving additional play and visitation at land-based properties."
The authors say that i-gaming revenue in New Jersey “may have hit a wall,” they add that potential regulation in the states of New York and Pennsylvania “could spark the long-awaited domino effect on the Eastern Seaboard.”
