Mobile sports betting revenue in New York fell by 37.9 per cent in February, reaching $131.4m following January’s posting of $211.5m.

Handle in the Empire State also fell below $2bn – which was achieved three months in a row between October and December –  for the second month in a row, hitting $1.7bn in February.

This translated to a 17.3 per cent decrease on January’s $1.96bn.

Year-on-year, though, February’s GGR in New York rose by 21.4 per cent and handle was also up by 17.6 per cent.

FanDuel led the way for handle and revenue in New York in February, posting respective figures of $720.1m and $63.4m.

DraftKings’ handle hit $607.9m for February, translating to revenue of $53.4m.
