Online gaming company Churchill Downs, owner of the Kentucky Derby horse race in the US, is launching its BetAmerica sports betting and igaming platform in Michigan in partnership with Hannahville Indian Community.
The partnership intends to open a retail sports book at Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan, and make the BetAmerica online sports book and igaming platform available throughout the state.
BetAmerica is also available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Mississippi. Churchill Downs, in addition to the iconic horse race, has the unique Derby City Gaming, a racing machine facility in Louisville, Kentucky, and operates the largest online horse racing wagering platform in the US, TwinSpires.com.
