Social casino games developer Tangelo is planning to launch two new mobile slot apps for the UK market later this year.
Upon the release of the company's half-year results, Vicenc Marti, president of Tangelo, said: “We are on track to deliver on schedule in 2017 our remaining goals of a new Mundijuegos mobile app along with two entirely new mobile-first slot applications, tailored specifically for English-speaking markets with innovative social functionality."
The company, which generates revenue primarily through the in-game sale of virtual coins, reported revenue of CA$9.27m and $18.25m respectively for the three and six months ended June 30. In comparison, revenues were $10m and $20.91m for the same periods last year.
In addition to its new slots, Tangelo has also completed the conversion of its top-four performing slot machines to the Unity platform.
