Microgaming has developed the first true 3D online video slot, which was unveiled by the online gaming software provider at the ICE show in London this week.
Developed based on the Sterling Silver five-reel 25-payline video slot, the 3D online slot game is an industry first as it has been developed using true 3D technology. It will be launched this year.
Head of casino at Microgaming, Mike Hebden, commented: "We have been working on 3D gaming content for some time and launched The Great Galaxy Grab online slot in 2009, which was developed using 3D rendered graphics. This time we will be launching a 3D slot which truly brings the world of online gaming to life."
