Gross igaming and sports betting revenue in Michigan, US, rose 16.5 per cent month-on-month in September to US$261m.

Igaming contributed £202.6m of that figure, the Michigan Gaming Control Board reported, with sports betting accounting for the remaining $58.4m.
Revenue in both verticals increased, igaming from $196.7m and sports betting from $27.4m.
Adjusted gross receipts in Michigan were $209.9m, including $182.3m for igaming – up 3.1 per cent – and $27.6m for sports betting, which rose 68.7 per cent compared with August 2024.
Year-on-year, igaming AGR was up by 21.8 per cent and sports betting was up by 47.2 per cent.
Sports betting handle in Michigan was $501.8m in September, up 79.2 per cent from $280.1m in August.
Michigan-based operators reported submitting $39.5m in taxes and payments to the state in September.
