The Michigan Gaming Control Board says May’s combined igaming and sports betting revenue of US$185.8m dropped 5.1 per cent compared to April’s results.

Igaming gross gaming revenue in the Wolverine State totalled $150.6m, with sports betting GGR at $35.2m for the month – both down from $159.4m and $36.3m in April, respectively.

Combined total igaming and online sports betting adjusted gross receipts were $157.5m, with igaming contributing $135.5m and sports betting $22m. While they translate to month-on-month decreases, the MGCB says they are increases year-on-year.

Total online sports betting handle in Michigan in May was $288.3m, a drop of 10.7 per cent from April’s $322.8m.
