Igaming and mobile sports betting revenue in Michigan across 2023 increased 18.3 per cent year-on-year to US$2.3bn.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board said igaming contributed $1.9bn and mobile sports betting $420.4m.
Total sports betting handle for 2023 was $4.6bn, the regulator said, with igaming taxes and fees for the year amounting to $354m and mobile sports betting taxes and fees reaching $15.8m.
The annual figures in Michigan were compiled after December’s revenue report revealed record igaming revenue of $181.4m, beating the $175.3m posted in November.
Sports betting revenue in December was also a record $61.1m, up from the previous high of $54.1m in November 2021.
There was also a new all-time high sports betting handle of $583m in Michigan in December, up 2.5 per cent from the $568.8m recorded in November.
