The Malta Gaming Authority has suspended the licence for Egmit Elite to operate in the jurisdiction.

Malta Gaming Authority

The MGA said the owner and operator of Elite24bet Casino, which was launched in 2020, failed to meet commitments to players in a timely manner.

The operator also failed to pay all amounts due to the authority in a timely manner, the regulator said.

“The authority, in its sole discretion, has determined that there is material and sufficient reason for suspending the authorisation,” a statement read.

The MGA said it has subsequently proceeded to file a police report and has initiated liquidation proceedings for Egmit Elite.
