Since the start of the Covid pandemic, Meridian Gaming Group, one of the world’s largest online gambling platforms, has striven to help local communities wherever it operates.

This was also the case at the recently held G2E trade expo in Las Vegas. On the closing day of the show, Meridian presented its results in combating the pandemic and reported it had donated over $1m to Covid-related projects and reached 150 cities in Europe, LatAm and Africa.
The attention of participants at the US' largest gaming expo was attracted by the fact that Meridian had adapted dozens of its outlets into vaccination outposts throughout the world, available not only to employees but to all responsible citizens.
For over 18 months now, Meridian Gaming has supportied national hospitals and medical centres, safe houses, transfusion centres, gerontology centres, social welfare NGOs and health foundations throughout south-east Europe, the European Union, LatAm, Central America, Africa and Asia.
The company has also partnered with the World Health Organisation to help with its global vaccine roll-out, Covid-19 Relief and Solidarity Response Plan. Thanks to companies like Meridian, the WHO has been able to support the world’s most vulnerable countries in their efforts to roll out Covid-19 vaccination campaigns.
