Betting patterns for tonight’s friendly football international between Nigeria and Scotland at Fulham’s Craven Cottage ground in London have highlighted a risk of match fixing, the Scottish Football Association has said.

The SFA said it had been contacted by the National Crime Agency, which had identified a possible match-fixing threat associated with the game but was unable to offer any specific intelligence.
In a statement, an SFA spokesperson said: "We are liaising with the relevant authorities and preparing for the match as normal.”
There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by anyone from either the Nigerian or Scottish teams, nor the respective football associations.
The game is expected to go ahead as scheduled, kicking off at 8pm, but bookmakers have been urged to be vigilant with regard to betting patterns.
