Total gaming revenue across Massachusetts, US, covering sports betting and casinos, rose 20.1 per cent year-on-year to US$186.1m.

The latest figure released by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission was up from $155m in May 2024 and also translated to a month-on-month rise of 10.7 per cent from April’s $168.1m.
Sports betting handle rose 11.7 per cent year-on-year to $655.8m, but there was a drop of five per cent from April’s $690.3m.
Sports wagering revenue hit $80.7m in May, up 41.6 per cent from May 2024’s $57m and up 22.4 per cent from April’s $65.9m.
Table game and slots gross gaming revenue in the Bay State in May was $105.4m, up 7.5 per cent and 3.2 per cent year-on-year and month-on-month, respectively.
