The Malta Gaming Authority has reminded stakeholders that as of January 1, the Suspicious Betting Reporting Requirements will be brought into force.

B2C licensees which offer sports betting have already been notified of the requirements by means of a consultation paper which was then followed by a feedback paper and a formalised guidance paper accessible to all stakeholders.

The Authority also provided early access to the Suspicious Betting Reporting Mechanism which is further facilitating the reporting processes between MGA licensees and the Sports Integrity Unit.
