The Colombian national igaming regulator, Coljuegos, has handed out its eighth licence.
Spain-based Luckia is the recipient of the first igaming licence to be awarded in 2018.
Colombia, which was the first to regulate online gambling in the continent, has 212,866 players registered across all the authorised online operators and 95 per cent of them are currently active. Official data shows that in the same year gambling licences generated US$1,865,820 of revenue.
