According to Entertainment Laboratories (Enlabs) there is a likelihood that Latvia will suspend operations in its gaming areas as a result of the ongoing epidemic.

Enlabs, with considerable involvement in the Baltic region, has said in a statement that it is anticipating closure in Latvia following measures announced to limit the spread of coronavirus by its parliament.

Those measures may result in a temporary suspension of all gaming licences in the country and therefore all gaming operations, both land-based and online. “There is still much uncertainty and formally no law has been passed. The government has declared that an extraordinary situation exists until April 14, 2020.”
