The Danish gambling regulator has reported that total gross gaming revenue in April rose 4.8 per cent year-on-year to DKK639m.

Spillemyndigheden says that sports betting showed the biggest growth, with GGR jumping 11 per cent to DKK247m in April from last year.
There was also a GGR increase for the online casino segment, which posted revenue of DKK257m, up 6.3 per cent year-on-year.
However, land-based casino GGR dropped 8.9 per cent to DKK32m, with gaming machines GGR also down 6.7 per cent to DKK107m.
