KPMG Gibraltar has announced the speaker line-up for its second annual eGaming Summit.
The event includes updates from some of last year’s speakers on changes to the sector, as well as new topics and ideas from first-time speakers.
Due to be held on April 19 at the Caleta Hotel in Gibraltar, the summit will bring together key stakeholders and decision makers from i-gaming operators, service providers and the government. They will present on a range of matters relevant to the industry, as well as take questions from delegates.
The morning session will focus on issues specific to the jurisdiction. Following opening remarks by The HonGilbert Licudi, government of Gibraltar, Phill Brear of the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority will offer an update on licensing and regulation, followed by a general sector update provided by Peter Montegriffo of Hassans. Clive Hawkswood, chief executive of the Remote Gambling Association, will present his view of the future for Europe, after which Lucky Multani of 888 Holdings will talk about player security and fraud prevention. The morning closes with a topical presentation by HM Treasury and HMRC on UK tax and regulation.
The afternoon session will focus on the sector in a broader global context, with an eye to the future. Highlights will include representatives of digital marketing company Latitude Group presenting on social gaming and mobile marketing, Joanna Lawrence from Barclaycard talking about payment acceptance and solutions, GBGC’s Warwick Bartlett speaking on the future of the US and Asia, as well as John Kamara from SpadeSocial discussing customer acquisition. The afternoon will close with a Q&A session in which a panel of four experts will field questions from delegates on the day’s topics.
