An agreement has been struck between online gambling operator Kindred Group and Penn National Gaming that will offer market access in Illinois and Ohio to operate online sports betting and online gambling.
Following its successful entry into New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Indiana, Kindred has come up with new agreements to sign up for access to two more states through Penn.
The company, under the Unibet brand, will work in Illinois through Argosy Casino Alton and in Ohio through Hollywood Casino. The agreements are for a 10-year period.
Manual Stan, senior vice-president for Kindred in the US, said: “We continue our journey in what we believe will become the largest gambling market in the world. Adding on two more states shows our commitment to establishing Unibet in the US. Illinois is one of the largest US states and it will be the next state that we are targeting to launch.”
Kindred will leverage Pala Interactive’s online gaming platform and integrate with sports betting provider Kambi.
