Operators including BetMGM, Fanatics, DraftKings and Caesars Entertainment went live with their mobile offerings three weeks after retail sports betting became legal in the state.

“At the Fanatics Sportsbook, customers can bet on the sports they love and be rewarded with up to five per cent back in FanCash on every wager they make, win or lose,” said Scot McClintic, chief product officer for Fanatics Betting and Gaming.

“We are launching in Kentucky with our signature jersey drop promotion where new customers can sign up and suit up with a fresh jersey from any team and any sport from Fanatics.com.”

BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said the operator is confident that it can “elevate” bettors’ gameday experience, with mobile sports betting also set to be a feature of the 5,200sq.ft retail sportsbook the operator is set to open with Revolutionary Racing Kentucky at Sandy’s Racing & Gaming.

Caesars said its Caesars Sportsbook app has gone live in the Bluegrass State, with bettors able to make mobile account deposits and withdrawals for the app at the retail Caesars Sportsbook at Red Mile Gaming & Racing in Lexington, which Caesars opened in partnership with Keeneland and Red Mile on September 7.

DraftKings’ expansion into Kentucky came with an agreement with ECL Corbin, which runs The Mint Gaming Hall at Cumberland.

DraftKings teamed up with Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones, who hosted his live show from The Mint Gaming Hall on Thursday and placed the first bet via the DraftKings Sportsbook in Kentucky.

Matt Kalish, President, DraftKings North America, said: “It’s an exciting time of year with the NFL and college football seasons currently underway, and we look forward to being the ultimate host, providing customers with a seamless and enjoyable sports betting experience.”
