Sports betting revenue in Kansas, US, rose 34.7 per cent year-on-year in July to US$9.2m.

Online revenue accounted for $9.15m of the total, with DraftKings generating the most online revenue at $4.6m. FanDuel followed behind in the online vertical with $3.4m.

However, there was a decline in revenue in the month-on-month comparison, with July’s figure down 1.8 per cent from $9.4m.

The revenue came from total handle of $122m in July, up 53.1 per cent from July 2023’s $79.7m but down 12.9 per cent from June’s $140.1m.

DraftKings and FanDuel, respectively, made up most of the online handle, which equated to $118.8m of the total.

Tax revenue in Kansas totalled $919,947 in July. This figure rose by 34.7 per cent from July 2023’s $683,176 but fell 1.8 per cent from May’s $936,385.
