Kambi has begun providing its sportsbook to Mexico’s igaming market after agreeing a deal with local media giant Televisa and its gaming arm PlayCity.
The launch of PlayCityApuestas.com follows last year’s deal between Kambi and Televisa, which saw 16 PlayCity land-based casinos integrate Kambi’s retail product suite.
PlayCity is supporting the launch with a social and digital marketing campaign beginning on Friday, October 20, while TV and other marketing channels are expected to follow.
“I’m delighted that PlayCity is now live with Kambi’s online sports betting solution,” said Kristian Nylen, chief executive of Kambi.
“The response to Kambi’s retail product has illustrated a real thirst among PlayCity players for a high-quality sportsbook offer and we are confident that, together with PlayCity, we can make the online sportsbook an even greater success,” he added.
The PlayCity launch continues Kambi’s growth in Latin American markets following June’s deal to provide the Kambi sportsbook to Corredor Empresarial’s BetPlay brand in Colombia.
