Kambi has appointed Mattias Eriksson to the newly created position of chief product officer, with the innovation strategist tasked with driving the development of Kambi’s next generation Sportsbook and its readiness for the US market.

Based out of the supplier’s product-focused Stockholm office, Eriksson will lead product strategy, design and implementation.

He brings to Kambi 10 years of experience at Swedish sports betting monopoly Svenska Spel, including four as director of business development and innovation.

More recently, Eriksson spent six years as an advisor and consultant to a range of ecommerce organisations, where he assisted with the creation, development and execution of product strategy, innovation and change. 

As well as delivering the innovative and cutting-edge product demanded by an evolving sports betting market and audience, Eriksson will also be responsible for creating a Sportsbook able to lead a potentially soon-to-be regulated US market.
