Joy of Bingo, which promotes online bingo sites including Posh Bingo, Wink Bingo and 888Ladies, has raised £31,274 for the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Throughout October, Joy of Bingo ran a series of promotions and campaigns, including the Pink Friday events, seeking to raise £20,000. Exceeding its target by more than 50 per cent, the affiliate network donated £31,274 to the breast cancer information, support and treatment charity.
A statement from Joy of Bingo said: “The Pink Fridays got everyone thinking pink every Friday throughout October with a total of £5,000 to win playing 75-ball bingo games.”
The statement continued: “Breast Cancer Care is a charity that aims to ensure that every person affected by breast cancer gets the best treatment, information and support. It provides candid advice alongside clinical expertise to people affected by breast cancer, whatever the stage.
“It was not just bingo but a worthy cause on the minds of many that brought players together to raise substantial financial support for the cause.”
