Marko Jelen has taken on the role of head of sales at WeAreCasino, replacing Christian Maglia.
Jelen has 25 years of experience in land-based casinos and entered the online gaming industry in the last three years. He was previously general manager at Slovenian HIT Group Casino and director at Perla Casino, Casino Portoroz and Casino Portomaso in Malta.
Jelen moved to online gaming as business development manager at Edesia and then Stanleybet.
Jelen said: "WeAreCasino is a young and dynamic company with a lot of ongoing projects and ideas. I’m sure that together with all our extraordinary talented team we’ll be able to deliver them to our clients and partners.
“After a successful presence at G2E Asia in Macau, we can already confirm our next stops at the Belgrade Gaming show, iGB Live Amsterdam and Casino Beats in London.
“We have delivered a strong Q1 and entering in new markets will give us the right push for the rest of the year.”
