He will take charge on November 16, replacing Steve Rogers, and will be responsible for the innovation, delivery and growth of Inspired’s virtual sports stable.

Freeman most recently served as chief revenue officer at FSBTech and has also been vice president of global business development and commercial at IGT PlayDigital.

He also has experience of the CCO role from five years at Kambi.

Brooks Pierce, President and CEO at Inspired, said Freeman’s “extensive background in the sports betting industry” will be “invaluable,” adding that he brings the “perfect balance of capabilities needed to elevate our virtual sports business to the next level.”

Rogers, who leaves Inspired on December 6 after 25 years at the company, said on LinkedIn that choosing to move on has been a “very tough decision given the immense pleasure that I have experienced over the years as part of a growth story that nobody could have imagined when we set out on our virtual sports journey all that time ago.”
