Indiana posted improved year-on-year sports betting revenue in May, with the US$33.7m figure up five per cent year-on-year.

The US state’s tax income from sports wagering also increased year-on-year, from $2.9m to $3.2m.
However, sports wagering handle in the state declined by eight per cent on May 2022’s efforts, to $283.4m.
Of the sports wagered on by bettors, American football pulled in the most handle at $1.96m, although that figure dropped from the $2.3m posted last May.
The handle for basketball, the second most popular sport, dropped to $71.99m from $84.5m a year ago.
