Sports betting revenue in Indiana, US, rose by over 10 per cent year-on-year in May.

The Indiana Gaming Commission’s latest figures show that wagering revenue hit US$43.8m in May 2025, up 12.3 per cent from May 2024’s $39m.

Month-on-month, revenue rose nine per cent from April’s $40.2m.

Handle was stable month-on-month in April, falling from $437.1m to $433.3m. Year-on-year, though, there was a 19.8 per cent improvement from May 2024’s $361.6m.

Sports betting tax revenues in Indiana in May were $4.2m, up 12.3 per cent year-on-year from $3.7m and up nine per cent month-on-month from $3.8m.

Basketball accounted for the most wagers of any sport in May and was worth $112.6m of handle.
