A strong year-on-year igaming revenue increase helped Pennsylvania post overall revenue of $479.4m in May, up 7.05 per cent.

The overall revenue figure was also slightly up on April’s posting of $476.7m, as reported by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Igaming generated $140.97m in revenue in May in the Keystone State, up 24.42 per cent year-on-year from $113.3m. The igaming figure is also up slightly month-on-month from April’s $137.2m.
Sports betting showed a fractional increase in handle of 0.45 per cent year-on-year, to $495.6m. However, revenue rose 17.41 per cent to $41.1m from May 2022’s $35m and the figure was also an improvement on April’s $37m in revenue.
As for land-based gaming’s contribution in Pennsylvania in May, slot machine revenue climbed by 2.5 per cent to $210.9m. Although, retail table games revenue dropped 7.8 per cent to $81.6m.
